How to reset a Parrot CK3000 Evo
This seems to be a common question, so here is the method to reset the Parrot CK3000 Evo.
Sometimes it may be necessary to reset the CK3000 Evo. The CK3000 Evo can pair with up to 3 phones (only 1 can be used at a time). If 3 phones are already paired you will not be able to add another and will need to reset the CK3000 Evo.
Resetting will remove all paired devices and reset settings back to factory standard.
Reset procedure:
1. Turn on the CK3000 Evo and wait about 20 seconds for the kit to fully turn on.
2 If you search from your phone on Bluetooth you will see the CK3000 Evo listed and the version number – this can be anything up to V5.29C (the last version). If you have found the CK3000 Evo when searching but do not appear to have the Parrot control button set, you may have an interface that uses the car’s steering wheel buttons – the reset procedure is different.
3. Hold down the Red and Green buttons at the same time for 2 to 3 seconds until you hear “memory erasing in progress”. After erasing the memory the CK3000 Evo will re-boot and announce ” please pair device”.
4. Search from your phone on Bluetooth and select the CK3000 Evo then pair with the handsfree kit. The PIN Code is 1234.
Different software versions of Parrot CK3000 Evo may operate slightly differently and some will have issues with connecting to the newer phones, in which case you should update the firmware to 5.29C or later.
At JustCarKits we can update the firmware for you. Please see the following link:

It is not possible to directly re-programme the CK3000 Evo via Bluetooth, though we do have an updater to do this:

Interesting. There are Parrot brochures that indicate that a CK3000 EVO Black Edition supports A2DP ?
It was never a feature of the CK3000 Evo – have fitted and sold many over the years.

what other way ?
Morning Roman,
To reset the CK3000 Evo you can try the following button sequences (depends on the steering wheel interface manufacturer):
Track forward, Track Backward, Track forward, Track Backward, Track forward, Track Backward, Track forward, Track Backward, Track forward, Track Backward (5 times in succession).
OR
Track forward, Track Backward, Track forward, Track Backward, Track forward, Track Backward (3 times in succession).
OR
Vol + Vol -, Vol + Vol -, Vol + Vol – (3 times in succession).
OR
Vol – Vol +, Vol – Vol +, Vol – Vol + (3 times in succession).
Hi team,
Does the Parrot CK3000 EVO with firmware 5.29C support A2DP ?
Thanks
Doug
Hello Doug,
The CK3000 Evo does not support A2DP. It was designed way before this feature was available and only supports handsfree profile.
For A2DP you need either the MK or MKi series of handsfree kits (or Bury CC Series)
