Audi A4 Convertible Poor Radio Reception
Audi A4 convertible radio reception and GPS problems
Do you have an Audi A4 convertible where the FM /AM radio or GPS reception is poor or there is none at all ?
JustCarKits can repair this fault.
This is a fairly common issue with the A4 convertible and is caused by opening and shutting the boot. Over the years the constant movement and bending of the cables will cause them to break.
The harness is one part from the boot-lid all the way back to the stereo. This was not a clever design choice by Audi.
Quite often you will find a previous owner has attempted a repair on the cables and made the issue worse. Audi use screened cables and these need to be replaced rather than repaired.
We can replace the defective cables, using original Audi parts, and get your radio and GPS reception back.
Please call or email for further details.

Hi I have the same issue with a 2006 Audi A4 sedan. I have an aftermarket Alpine stereo fitted. Would the same fix work for me? And can you indicate the price? Thanks very much.
Hello Willie H,
Normally the A4 saloon has the antennas in the rear screen. It will not be the same issue.
More likely to be an installation issue – wrong antenna adaptor used or no power feed connected.
Can investigate @ £ 40.00 / Hr
Would be helpful if you still have the original stereo and bring it with you, as can run diagnostic to check current consumption of antenna system fitted to the vehicle.
Please phone for an appointment.
Regards,
Philip
