Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa, Maestro and Mastercard credit / debit card payments through Global Payment and PayPal secure payments.

Telephone order purchases are available by calling on 01753 673500 during normal business hours.

If you are shopping from within the EU, North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to Euros, US Dollars or your own currency.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.
Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
Special Order items are charged for at time of order and cannot be returned for credit.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable..

Shipping And Handling

For UK orders we offer the following:
2nd Class postage – not tracked, typically 2 to 5 working days delivery
1st Class postage – not tracked, typically 1 to 2 working days delivery
Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery – Item has tracking number and is signed for upon delivery.
Royal Mail Special Delivery – Item has tracking number and is to be delivered by 1PM next working day.
Saturday Special Delivery is also available for orders shipped on Fridays (at extra cost). Saturday delivery is by 1PM.For European and International Orders we offer the following:
Standard Airmail – Not tracked.
Signed For Airmail – Tracking from UK to destination country only. Item is signed for upon delivery.
Tracked International – Tracked service and is available only to a limited set of countries.
Overnight courier next working day – UK Mainland only. Please call /email for a quote to Northern Ireland, IOM, Channel Islands, Gibraltar and Scottish Highlands. These areas may also be a 2 day service.

Delivery Schedule

We value your custom and aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days.

Over 95% of items listed on our web-site are in stock and ready for dispatch.

We will normally send your order to you in 2 business days, subject to the dispatch method chosen.

For UK orders we generally use 1st Class Recorded Delivery. For urgent items next working day Special Delivery and overnight courier services are available – please select prefered choice during order process.

International orders are generally received in approximately 4 to 7 working days for EU customers. International orders to rest of world can take up to 20 days, but are generally 7 working days (subject to customs clearance).

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK  20% VAT is added. VAT is not charged for shipments to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar, though you may be charged VAT and admin fee locally.
For orders made to the European Union are VAT free 0%. Please note that you may be charged VAT at your local rate by Customs. An administration / handling fee may also be charged by the local postal service.
All other orders from worldwide destinations are VAT free (0% – VAT is a UK sales tax ).

VAT (if applicable), Customs duties and administration charges are the customer’s responsibility and will generally need to be paid before the goods are delivered.

Credit Card Security

In order to process payment by Credit / Debit card you will be transferred to Global Payments secure payment gateway using 256 bit SSL encryption. Payment will then be transacted on Global Payments or PayPal’s secure servers using SSL technology.

JustCarKits do not hold your card details.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 which can be found here

*** Please note that Programming Cables are NOT eligeable for return, as these are service items used by technically competent personnel to update electronic components. We are happy to repair/replace any faulty programming cables within the 1 year warranty period. ***

Under Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, (formerly Distance Selling Regulations) you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website.
The 14 (fourteen) day cooling off period and the right to cancel does not apply to contracts for the following:

Services that begin before the end of the cooling off period

The supply of goods or services, the price of which is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the supplier

Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised

Goods that due to their nature cannot be returned or that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly

The supply of audio or video recordings or computer software if they are unsealed by the consumer

The supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines; or Gaming, betting or lotteries

Business to Business (B2B) contracts
Goods purchased from JustCarKits may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund * # of the purchase price.
Items must be unopened and in their original packaging. The buyer is responsible for return postage.
We suggest you use Recorded Delivery or other trackable means, as proof of posting is not proof of delivery.
We will not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit. Refunds will be processed within 14 days and are subject to the above conditions.

Any item which develops a fault within 12 months of purchase may be returned for repair and / or replacement subject to the manufacturer’s standard warranty terms.
This does not cover misuse or neglect.

The buyer is responsible for return postage costs; the seller will incur return postage costs for replacement of faulty goods.

* Excludes Business-to-Business contracts. A 20% B2B restocking fee for testing and inspection applies.
# The standard shipping charge will be refunded for 2nd class delivery in the UK and standard Air Mail for EU and International customers. Extra postage paid for “Signed For” or “Priority” service is non-refundable

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
