How to reset a Parrot MKi9200 without the remote

The Parrot MKi9200 may require a reset to clear the paired phones or reset some settings which have been accidentally changed.

The Parrot wireless remote control is used to access the settings menu on the MKi9200. This means that you cannot reset the MMi9200 without the remote. The only exception to this is if you have the Unika steering wheel interface instead of the remote, in which case it is possible.

Spare Parrot remotes for the Mki9200 are no longer available.

Also, please note that the MKi remote control requires a CR2032 battery to operate, so if you have a remote that isn’t working would recommend the battery is changed first.

Reset Using the vehicle steering wheel buttons (when Unika has been installed)

It is possible to perform a factory reset using the vehicle steering wheel buttons if the Parrot Unika interface is fitted.

MKi9100 and MKi9200:

Use this button sequence to enter the menu on the MKi9100 and MKi9200.    Track Forward, Track Back, Track Forward, Track Back in one sequence. If successful, you will then be in the Parrot menu. Navigate to “Settings” using the Track Forward button. When at “Settings” use the Phone Button (accept call button if there are 2 phone buttons) to enter menu and scroll down to “Advanced Settings”. Again, press Phone button to confirm. Scroll down to “Factory Reset” and press Phone button to confirm. The MKi9100 or MKi9200 will then re-boot after clearing the memory.

After re-boot search for the Parrot from your phone’s Bluetooth menu and select the Parrot. Pairing code is 0000

      Hello,
If it is an MKi9200 you need to go into Settings / Bluetooth / PhoneX then press centre button and select “delete”. Press centre button or green to confirm deletion.
