One connection need to be made at time of installation on most BMW’s, Mini vehicles – instructions provided

BMW E60 / E90 / E87 Mini R56 & R57 and other models where reverse tones are heard through rear speakers: You will not hear the reversing tones when using handsfree but will hear them whist playing music over Bluetooth (through the handsfree car kit).

BMW: please note this lead set is only compatible with the basic audio system. It will not work on fully or part amplified systems, such as Logic 7.

Puts music from handsfree car kit through BMW stereo and all speakers.
Handsfree audio is from the handsfree car kit.
