Description

CP2-UNI.2 – Universal Steering Wheel Interface for many different vehicle makes and models

Supports Analogue, CAN Bus and LIN Bus protocols.

Allows the replacement of original stereo with an aftermarket headunit whilst retaining the use of the steering wheel buttons
Supplied with universal wiring harness and patch lead.
Patch lead has 3.5mm plug and un-terminated connections
Full instructions provided including pinout diagrams for connection to vehicle wiring.

Volume + / –
Track Forward / Back

Phone button(s) – selected vehicles only

Compatible with a wide range of stereos from Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, JVC, Sony and Chinese brands
This interface will give you the On/Off signal to the stereo from the car data bus (if CAN Bus based).
Interface has Reverse gear signal and speed pulse output (if CAN Bus based).

Please note that where the vehicle reverse tones are through the original stereo this interface will NOT provide the output tones. You will need a uni-chime (in addition) for this function.
